Protect your business checking account from unauthorized activity, altered checks, and fraud. Positive Pay creates a secure partnership between your business and the bank to safeguard your hard-earned revenue.

Positive Pay

  • How It Works: you upload or manually enter a list of the checks your company issues. As checks come in for payment, our system automatically verifies critical points: account number, check number, date, and exact amount.
  • You Make the Final Call: Anything that doesn’t match your authorized list perfectly is flagged as an “exception” for your review.
  • Critical 10:00 A.M. Deadline: You must log in to review and decide on flagged exceptions by 10:00 a.m. CST each business day. If missed, unauthorized checks may clear, which could result in a financial loss to your business.
  • Stay Alert: We highly recommend setting up automated text or email Exception Alerts in your portal so you never miss a review window.
