For the third year in a row, Newsweek has named Town & Country Bank one of top 250 Best Regional Banks in America!
Earning this spot three years running is a huge honor for us. More importantly, it’s a reflection of the things that matter most to our customers, like financial trust, local service, and making sure our neighbors feel heard and supported.
While we’re proud to be one of only a handful of banks in Missouri to receive this elite recognition, we know that awards don’t provide loans or help you save for your first home – people do. This recognition belongs to our incredible team and, most importantly, to you, our customers. Your trust allows us to keep investing in our local schools, supporting our small business owners, and keeping our community’s economy strong.
At Town & Country Bank, we’ve always believed you shouldn’t have to choose between big-bank technology and small-town heart. Whether you’re using our mobile app from your couch or stopping by a branch to talk about your next big goal, we’re here to make sure you get top-tier service every single time.

Town & Country Bank has earned recognition from Newsweek for the third consecutive year. Join one of Missouri’s best regional banks for personal and business banking.

“Town & Country Bank has a long-standing history of stability. We strive to remain on the cutting edge of our industry by offering new products and services that meet the needs of our consumers.”
Town & Country Bank has been a locally owned bank for over a century. The bank was chartered in 1894 as Dent County Bank in Salem, Missouri, owned by the Dent family, with Louis Dent as President. The Gott family purchased the bank in 1993 and remained the present-day owners. Roger Gott became the President and Chairman of the Board in 1994, and under his leadership, three small community banks were merged to become what is known as Town & Country Bank. Today, Town & Country has grown to be one of the largest community banks in South Central Missouri, serving eight Missouri communities, including Salem, Rolla, Licking, Bourbon, Mountain Grove, St. James, Ava, and Pevely. There are 165 employees spread among the ten branches, and the Town & Country Bank’s headquarters can be found in Salem, Missouri.
Our steadfast commitment to providing exceptional service to our customers and communities is a core value that will remain constant with our continued growth. Our long legacy of active community participation has been a part of our heritage since its inception and has continued to grow in recent years.
